Obituary of Brendan Matthew Ryan

Brendan Matthew Ryan - age 84

It is with great sadness in our hearts to announce the passing of Brendan Ryan on March 7, 2024.  Brendan was born December 16, 1939 in Port Saunders, NFLD.

Brendan worked as a Head Chef for 57 years most of those years was employed with the Flamingo Restaurant in Halifax. Brendan lived a quiet life being a loving husband and father.

Brendan is survived by his wife Elaine Ryan (LeBlanc) of 51 years, his daughter Emmy Ryan; two grandchildren Connor and Tyler Ryan and daughter in law Judy Ryan.

He was predeceased by his son Matthew Brendan Ryan.

Cremation has been entrusted to J. Albert Walker Funeral Home and will be buried at Mount Olivett Cemetery in Halifax with a grave site service for the family to be announced at a later date.
