Obituary of Francis Percy Gray

GRAY, Francis Percy- Age 77 of Sambro, it is with great sadness we announce the passing of Francis Percy Gray on April 22, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones.  Born in Sambro, he was the son of the late Francis and Audrey (Smith) Gray. During Francis’s younger years, he was a welder, you could find him in his garage tinkering on different projects or helping any friends or neighbors in need of any welding repairs.  Francis also loved playing cards with family and friends or going out fishing and hunting.  

Francis is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Juanita Gray; daughters, Hayley Gray and Renee Harnish; siblings, James (Gail) Gray, Esther Gilkie, Evelyn (Gordon) Brown, and Joyce Richardson; sister-in-law, Shirley Gray, Eva May Gray, and Lorraine Gray.  He was predeceased by siblings Maurice Gray, Albert Gray, and Randel Gray, and brother-in-law, Murray Richardson.

Arrangements and cremation have been entrusted to J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, Halifax.  In keeping with Francis’s wishes there will be no visitation.  A funeral service will occur on April 30^th, 2024, at 1 p.m. at St. James United Church, Sambro.
