Dear Cathryn,
My deepest sympathy to you, and Rob, on the passing of your beloved mother, Dorothy. I always looked forward to our chats at the Nova Scotia Welsh Club Meetings on so many fascinating topics, including several mutual experiences of our earlier upbringing and post-war life in the UK. I got to know Dorothy after we had each retired from fields connected with education — giving us lots to discuss, and to agree on, for the most part. My late husband, Bob, and I were agreed that Dorothy always “had a mind of her own” and Bob, being a fellow ‘Sassenach’, as I named them, (and whose own mother had been named Dorothy) found a special bond with your dear mother.
With my most sincere condolences on this very sad loss in your daily life of your always treasured Dorothy,
Fay (Lee)
