Obituary of Allen Joseph O'Donnell

O’DONNELL, Allen “Al” Joseph- Age 78 of Halifax, Al passed away peacefully on May 21, 2024, at the QEII Halifax Infirmary Site. Al served in the Navy for 35 years.  After retiring from the Navy, he went to work for the Chronicle Herald for 22 years delivering papers to all his customers, something he enjoyed immensely. At Christmas time he was known as Santa Paws delivering gifts to his 4 legged customers as he was a great/ owner of animals. 

He loved sports, and enjoyed watching Bluejays baseball, doing the morning crossword puzzle, and a game of crib!

He is survived by his partner, Diane; son, Allan; daughter, Catherine.

To all, he will be missed.  In keeping with Al’s wishes there will be no visitation or service.
