As kids Brenda and I delivered newspapers to the Richey home. Mr. Richey was generous in tipping us on payday and always made a point of asking us how our day was going . Many years later we commissioned Mr. Richey to “ tweak “ our house plans. His knowledge and attention to detail were remarkable. When the plans were done he suggested we cut out little pieces of furniture and place them on the plans to get a more realistic picture . We should have listened to him ! Having said that, we are still very happy with the home he helped to design for us . I guess you could say that we will always have a little piece of Mr. Richey within our four walls. Rest in peace Mr. Richey. And to his family we extend our deepest sympathy. Sincerely, Ken and Brenda (Calnen ) Bennett

I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know Mr. Richey many years ago at family gatherings. He left a lasting impression of being a fine Gentleman in every regard. He was kind, intelligent, caring and had a sense of peace and confidence that was endearing and comforting. I always enjoyed time spent listening to his wisdom and stories. So many years later, these impressions live on. I can see reflections of his personality in his son James, my brother in law and also in his other children and grandchildren. What a beautiful legacy to behold. Love certainly does conquer all. Godspeed Mr. Richey, on your journey Home. My sincere condolences to the Richey family during this time of grief.
