Obituary of Anthony Edward Scallion

A celebration of Tony's life will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 2-4pm at the Ketch Harbour Area Community Center, 964 Ketch Harbour Road.  All are welcome to come and share memories of Tony.

The family of Anthony(Tony) Scallion is saddened to announce his passing on July 14, 2024 after a short but courageous battle with cancer.  Tony is survived by his sons Brendan and Jeremy,  mother, Kennetta Scallion, brother Bruce (Lisa) and his fiancée Linda Walker.  Tony was  predeceased by his father, Edward Scallion.  Tony was a hard worker who started his machinist career with the Halifax Shipyard.  Tony’s work allowed for him to live and work across the country.  For his final role at Aberdeen Machinery  he lived in beautiful British Columbia where he loved to hike and explore nature.  Tony was very proud of his children and was looking forward to the life changing addition to his family.

A celebration of life will to place in Halifax later this summer.
