Obituary of Heather Ann Hayes

HAYES, Heather Ann- Age 62 of Halifax, it is with great sadness we announce the passing of Heather Ann Hayes on August 29, 2024.  Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Lorie and Margie (Rhodinzer) Hayes.  Heather was a lover of nature and loved to spend time enjoying the peace of what nature offered.   Heather was also a very strong-willed induvial who was a fighter, especially when she got diagnosed with cancer.  She was a sweet, and loving sister, daughter, mother, and grandmother who will be missed dearly. 

She is survived by her daughter, Kristal; brother, Paul Hayes; little sister, Lynn Hayes; 5 grandchildren.  She was predeceased by brothers, Gerry and Wayne Hayes.

Arrangements and cremation have been entrusted to J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax. In keeping with Heather's wishes, there will be no visitation.  A funeral service will take place Thursday, September 12, 2024, at 2 p.m. in our Chapel.
