Mom was a helping and giving woman who helped raise many of her grandchildren. She also raised numerous foster children for over twenty-five years. This was Mom’s true calling; she had a beautiful heart and opened her home to help so many. Mom was strong in her faith and loved by so many people. She will be dearly missed by all her loving family.

Mom will be missed dearly by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.  She was predeceased by her faithful, loving partner in life, Gerald Lapierre; daughter, Stephanie Sparks-Ramsey; brothers, Andrew Downey, Alexander Sparks, Avery Sparks, and Cleveland Sparks; sister, Ena Baker.

She was our queen and she’ll be missed every single day.
