I am a man of many words except when it comes to loss. Mr. Relf was like a second father to myself. Himself, Susan, Paul and Craig were the best neighbors I have ever had. I wish I could go back because those were the best days of my life. <3 - Jason

I knew Gord when he was a sergeant and later an officer in 723 Communications Squadron. At that time I was a university student, and Gord was always feeding me and giving me rides to work. He was a kind man and a good leader. I did not know that he became a minister and it although it is sad that he has left this earth, it heartens me to know that he with the Lord. When I think of Gord this verse comes to mind: (2 Timothy 4:7) "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith".

Dear Susan, We were surprised to read of Gord's passing as we have lost touch over the years. We are thinking that he was cub master at Holy Spirit many years ago and when there was cub camp we all went together to Tangier. Sue, you and I did the cooking and the boys loved the big breakfast we would make for them. Ron and I are thinking of you at this difficult time and if you are not the family that fits these memories, we still send our condolences and love. May the memories you, Craig and Paul have bring you smiles as you go through this difficult time. Sending big hugs. Kae and Ron

I wanted to give my condolences for your loss. Rev.Gordon was there for me and my family for both my mother and father's funerals. His calming and gentle manner gives comfort at the most difficult time of one's life. My family went to Emmanuel Church for a number of years with the Relf family. I just wanted to let you know how special a person he was and that he excelled at being a Reverend it was his true calling and you can't have a better job than working for God!!! Donna
