Obituary of Christopher Slauenwhite
Slauenwhite, Christopher Gerald: 53, Red Deer, Alberta. It with great sadness that we announce the passing of Christopher G. Slauenwhite in Alberta on May 21st, 2017. Born in Halifax, Chris is a son of Marion Bennett (Dave) and Gerry (Sharon) Slauenwhite. For many years, Chris had lived in Alberta. He was a quiet presence who was full of spirituality. He was known for his giving nature, always available to help those in need. Chris is survived by his mother, Marion Bennett (Dave), his father, Gerry (Sharon) Slauenwhite, his siblings, Sherry Bailey, Tammy (Chris) Robinson), Megan Slauenwhite and Jared Slauenwhite, as well as his treasured nieces and nephews, Amanda Bailey, Alex Bailey, Dylan Robinson and Rachel Bailey, as well as his best friend of 23 years, Kevin Corkum (Charissa), who was like a brother to Chris. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Basil and Viola Zinck and his paternal grandparents, Gerald and Nellie Slauenwhite.
Cremation has taken place in Alberta. In memory of Chris, a private memorial service will be held. Interment will take place at a later date. Those wishing to make a donation in remembrance of Chris may do so to the charity of one’s choice.
