Obituary of Mary P. Young

53, Dartmouth, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of Ronald Marriott and the late Margaret (Morrissey) Marriott. Mary is survived by her sons, Sean and Christopher and their father, Gerry Young; three grandchildren; brother, Gregory; 1 nephew and 3 nieces. She was predeceased by daughter, Rebecca; brother, Edwin. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, where visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 19 from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. A Service of Remembrance will follow at 12 p.m. from the funeral home chapel; followed by a reception. Interment will take place in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Dartmouth. Donations in Mary’s memory may be made to The North End Community Health Centre Housing First.
