Obituary of Robert Alexander Houlihan

Passed away on Friday September 22, 2017 at the QE2 Hospital. He was the son of the late Edward and Beatrice (Duggan) he was predeceased by his first wife; Marion (Davies), his sister Geraldine; brothers William (Gwen), Edward (Doris), Frank (Claire) and infant brother Gordon. He is survived by his second wife; Agnes (Boudreau), sons Bob (Sue), Michael (Doris) Fredericton, Dan (Sandra) and daughter Karen (Paul) Briand; stepchildren Marlene, Vancouver, Brian (Sandra), Brenda (Steve), Dora (Ted) and Alan (Martina); eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Bob retired from the Province of Nova Scotia Fire Marshall’s Office in 1994; he was proud of his family and loved hunting as well as building and spending time at his cottage in Chester Grant. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 11:30 am at St Agnes Church 6903 Mumford Road, Halifax with a reception to follow.
