Our hearts are heavy as we write this message., but, we also rejoice that Aunt Rene is now in a place much more glorious than this Earth., and we all await the day that we will gather together as Clans and Rejoice in each other, with all the Glory that is God. Here on this Earth, we still have all of the memories that we have gathered and will hold them in our hearts until the trumpet is sounded..Love and the peace of Christ be with all of the family.. She was the one strong and stable force you could always depend on being there and stepping up whenever it was needed. I have nothing but wonderful memories and After all these 60 + years I still see myself in that tiny kitchen surrounded by love and affection and awesome food!! This is the kind of person you want to be like when you grow up so you can take on the world on your own terms Love you Aunt Rene. Say hi to all the family for us and save us a spot in the bleachers

I first met Rene on the commons. I lived on West St., she lived in the family home on Davison St. I run into her years later, she was playing in the women's league for Dartmouth Jewellers. I was the umpire when Rene came to bat, her count was 3 balls 1 strike, the next pitch was very close, I called it a strike. She was not happy, she looked at me and said, this is not a threat, but; if I don't swing at the next pitch it had better be a ball. Thank God the pitch was over three ft. high. Rene was one hell of a good ball player and you could not find a better person. She was well liked and respected by all. I have ALS and I am house bounald, otherwise I would be there to say good bye to an extra special person and a very good friend
