Obituary of Jeanetta Adele Chamberlain

Age 84, Halifax, passed away October 24, 2017 at Arborstone Enhanced Care. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Marion (Chisholm) Bernard. Adele was a member of St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church where she had been a Sunday School teacher for 25 years as well as a member of the St. Michael’s Senior Choir. She is survived by son, Howard (Janice); daughter, Linda Hunt (Glen); brothers, Jim (Betty); Daniel (Grace); Richard; Frank and grandson, Allan. Adele was predeceased by husband, Allan; sons, Daniel and Glen; brothers, Willis, Joseph, George and James. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd. where visitation will be held Sunday October 29 from 6-9 p.m. Service of Remembrance will be Monday October 30 at 11a.m. from St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church 6 St. Michael’s Ave. Father Alfred Eshun as celebrant. Reception to follow in the church hall. Interment to take place in Gate Of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to 105.9 Seaside FM.
