Obituary of George Sr. Austin Weir

Age 59, Spryfield, passed away suddenly at home on December 16, 2017. Living in Spryfield all his life, he was a son of the late Madge Himmelman.

George is survived by his children, George Jr., Halifax and Melissa Weir (Jeff), Timberlea; siblings, Sidney (Lisa), Mike, Ronnie, Helen and Lillian; grandchildren, Jayden, Katelynn, Nicholas, Brianna and Justin and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Bobby and sister Emma. He will be greatly missed by his children and many friends.

Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd. where visitation will be held Wednesday December 20 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held Thursday December 21 at 11 a.m. from the funeral home chapel. Interment to take place at a later date.
