Obituary of Dorothy Joyce Misener

Age 84, Halifax, passed away March 7, 2018 at Northwood Centre.. Born on June 22, 1933 in Halifax to the late Charles and Dorothy Withers.

Dorothy (whom went by Joyce) was a loving and giving mother and grandmother. A very smart lady who enjoyed reading the paper everyday, watching the news, long drives and yard sales. She will be always loved and missed. She is survived by sons’ Clarence, Paul, Darryl and Donald; daughters, Phyllis and Julie; sister Gloria Jean; many grandchildren and great grandchildren and niece and nephew, Holly and Johnny, whom she helped raise. She was predeceased by husband, Clarence Misener; sister, Shirley; brothers, Clarence, Carl, Kenneth and Keith.

Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. Per her request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Family interment to take place at a later date.
