Obituary of Violet Ella Connolly

CONNOLLY, Violet Ella - 84, Halifax, passed away December 31, 2007. Born in Halifax, Violet was a daughter of the late John Bayfield and Agatha Maude (Mason) Mitchell. She is survived and will be sadly missed by her daughters, Connie Mercer (Lorne), Spryfield; Marie Brydon (Robin), Blackrock; Sharon Rose, Prince Edward Island.; sons, Derek Connolly (Patti), Spryfield; Walter Connolly (Indira), Cambridge, ON; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Garneau John Connolly, son, William “Bill” Briand, sisters, Ella Mitchell, Ruby Hillier, Daisy Butler; brothers, Arthur, Bayfield, William, Stanley, Percy and Harry. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Spryfield, (477-5601). A private family service will be held.
