Obituary of Terrance MacDonald

MacDONALD, Terrance Andrew - Born March 3, 1954, passed away on January 2, 2008, peacefully at home with his aunt Loretta by his side. Terry was a son of the late Harriet MacDonald and Charles Veinotte. He is survived by his brother, Allen (Darlene) Veinotte, Beech Hill, Lunenburg Co.; sisters, Barbara MacGillivray (late Lawrence), Glendale, Cape Breton; Mary King (Romeo Savoie), Halifax; Diane Sylvain and Shirley Oakley, Montreal, who were like his sisters; his "second mom" and aunt, Loretta Dodge; his cousins, Rita, Louise, Billy (Lynn), Eddy (Linda), Jimmy Dodge; nephews, Chris (Andrea), Robin (Laverne), Gregory Veinotte, Angus, John, Dale, Rick (Crystal); nieces, Dawna and Anne Leal (Frank); great-nephew, Hunter Veinotte; great-nieces, Bella, Ashley, Storm, Tina, and Mary; his uncle, George (Gerry) MacInnis, and aunts, Margaret Roach, Patsy Lockwood and Myrtle Veinotte. He was predeceased by his brother, John Hugh MacNeil; grandparents, James and Nellie MacInnis, Fred and Hilda Veinotte, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Resting in J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax (477-5601), where visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. Funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, January 7, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at a later date with our mom in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville.
