Obituary of Roy Frederick Manuel

MANUEL, Roy Frederick - 88, Halifax, passed away January 12, 2008, in Northwood Centre, Halifax. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Edgar and Inez (Bezanson) Manuel. He is survived by his daughters, Etta (Kevin) Lennox, Upper Tantallon; Mildred Manuel (James King), Halifax; son, Thomas, Halifax; sister, Phyllis Cox, Martins River; grandchildren, Aaron and Maxwell. He was predeceased by his wife, Beulah (Marriotte); brothers, Curtis, Donald, Lloyd, and Robert; sister, Dorothy Weagle. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Rd., Spryfield (477-5601), with visitation from 7-9 p.m. today. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 15, in Bayers Road United Baptist Church, Pastor Leslie McCurdy officiating. Interment will be held in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lower Sackville. Donations in Roy's memory may be made to the Nova Scotia Hospital or Kidney Foundation of Canada, Nova Scotia Branch.
