Obituary of Brenda Yeadon
Yeadon, Brenda Mae: 77, Halifax, passed away following a lengthy and courageous struggle with Alzheimer’s disease, on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at the VG Site, QEII, Halifax, NS. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Dorothy (Graves) Power. Throughout her life, Brenda had a career in the cosmetic industry, last working at Robert Simpsons Ltd. cosmetic counter until her retirement. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered as a loving mother and a lady who was loved by all who knew her. She is survived by her only daughter, Brenda Allen (Donald), Falmouth, NS, brother, Robert Power, Halifax, sister Venita Conway (Robert), Halifax, grandchildren, Kenneth, Christine, and Heather, as well as her great-grandchildren, Robert, Donnie, Tiffany, Tori, Nicole, Cady and Violet. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Kenneth B. Yeadon, and sisters, Helen Power and Joan Thibeault.
Resting at J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Spryfield, NS (477.5601), where visitation will be held on Friday from 6-8 PM. The funeral will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 10 AM from the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Patricia Malin officiating. Interment will take place in Oakridge Memory Gardens, Lower Sackville, NS.
