Obituary of Donald Reginald O'Melia

O'MELIA, Donald Reginald - Died March 5, 2008, in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII, following a short illness. He was a resident of Halifax and St. Catharines, Ont. Born May 30, 1937, he was a very successful furniture salesman during his working life. Don was an avid walker and political activist and he loved astrology. He is survived by his wife, Jean Marie (Delorey); daughter, Leanna (Ali) Lewis-Ona, Toronto; sons, Alan, Halifax; Darren (Kelly), Upper Tantallon, and grandson, Shaun, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont. He will also be missed by Ask'm, Lily, and Ask'm Jr. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of QEII 6th Floor CCU. No visitation, by family request. Cremation has taken place under the direction of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Rd., Spryfield (477-5601).
