Obituary of Florence Pettipas

Pettipas, Florence Mae: 79, New Glasgow, formerly of Halifax, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 13, 2008. She was the daughter of the late John Abner and Annie Agusta (Marryatt) Keating. Surviving are her son, Gary, Halifax, daughter, Janice (Jerry), New Glasgow, sister, Mildred, Halifax, brother, Abner (Eileen), Lower Sackville, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred, sister, Mary, and brothers, Gerald, Morris, and Kenny. The family wishes to thank the special work of the VON Home Care nurses and staff and the Palliative Care staff of the Aberdeen Hospital. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Spryfield, NS (477.5601), where a memorial service will be held on Friday, April 18, 2008 2 PM from the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Patricia Malin as clergy from the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville, NS.
