Obituary of Clarice Flinn

FLINN, Clarice Mary … 84, Halifax, passed away after a brief illness on April 19, 2008. Born October 11, 1923 in Cole Harbor, NS, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Ethel (Morash) Geldert. Clarice was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years Luke Flinn, Halifax; son, Stephen, Halifax; daughter, Janice (Paul) Nourry, Halifax; and grandson Daniel Nourry, Halifax. She was predeceased by brothers, George, Earl and Eric Geldert; and sisters, Vera Sibley, Edith Redden, Doris Frame and Marion Redden. Arrangements are under the direction of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Spryfield, NS (477-5601). By request there will be no visitation. A memorial mass will be held in Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church, 2267 Brunswick Street, Halifax, on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at 7 PM with Fr. George, SJ as celebrant.
