Obituary of Donna Gay

GAY, Donna Maxine - 64, Halifax, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2008, in the VG Site, QEII. Born in Milton, Queens County she was the daughter of the late Alice (Manthorn) Teal. Donna was a longtime member of the Fairview Legion where she spent countless hours playing darts with the league. She enjoyed bingo and a good game of crib. She is survived by daughters Angela (Leo) Fleming, Halifax; Rebecca (Shawn) Boucher, Lower Sackville; son James Gay, Halifax; grandchildren Mykaela and Brayden; brothers Wayne Teal, Michael Teal, Albert Manthorn and Jimmy Manthorn. She was predeceased by her husband James Gay. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Spryfield (477-5601) where visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17 from 7-9 PM. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 18 at 2 PM in the funeral home chapel. A reception will follow at the Fairview Legion.
