Obituary of Wayne Daniels
DANIELS, Wayne Everett - 61, Hatchet Lake, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, October 18, 2008, in the VG Site, QEII. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Fred and Beatrice (Connors) Daniels. Wayne will be lovingly remembered as an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed woodworking and music. He will be sadly missed and never forgotten by family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Dianne; son, Stephen; daughter, Rita (Edwin Corbin), all of Hatchet Lake; granddaughters, Kaitlynn, Shastalynn and Wylene; brothers, Frankie James (Claire), Kenny (Margaret), Freddie (Bev), all of Hatchet Lake; Albert (Jeannie), Toronto, Ont.; sisters, Barbara (Gerald) Bennett, Spryfield; Jean Publicover, Porter's Lake; Helen (Wally) Monk, Tantallon; Linda (Robert) Comeau, Newburn; Norma (Robert) MacDonald, Dublin Shore; Connie (Eddie) Criddle, Sackville; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Elvis; sister, Irene. The family would like to extend special thanks to the nurses of 3B, the VG Site, QEII, especially Susan Murphy and to Claire and Frankie Daniels for their care and support. Arrangements are under the direction of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Rd., Spryfield (477-5601), where visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 23, at 11 a.m. from the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lower Sackville. Donations in Wayne's memory may be made to the Head and Neck Patient and Family Fund No. T751.
