Obituary of Eileen Flanders

FLANDERS, Eileen D.- 86, passed away on December 12, 2008, after a lengthy illness. She was predeceased by her husband, Laurie Flanders; son, Lynn Flanders; grandson, L. Richard Flanders; and great-grandson, Justin Flanders. She is survived by sons, Laurie Flanders, Paul Flanders, Perry Flanders, and daughter, Darlene MacDonald; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. No visitation. Funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, December 16, at 10:00 a.m., in St. John The Baptist Church, Purcell's Cove Road, with burial immediately after in Gates of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
