Obituary of Michael Petrossie

Petrossie, Michael Richard: 63, Falls Lake West, Windsor, NS, passed away suddenly at his residence on Sunday, December 14, 2008. Born in Halifax, he is the son of Marcel Petrossie and the late Jennie (Fleet) Petrossie. Throughout his life, Mike had owned and operated his own upholstery businesses. In his retirement, he found great enjoyment at his camp in Falls Lake West, where he liked to hunt. He is survived by his father, Marcel, two daughters, Shellie Petrossie and Sheri Petrossie (Gerard), and their mother, Jane Petrossie, his grandchildren, Myles, Robyn, Robert, and Erica, all of Halifax, his companion, Margaret Baker of Dartmouth, brothers, David, Carl, Lannie, Loni, Philip, and Jan, sisters, Donna, Janice, Kelly, Lucy, and Sharon, all of Halifax. He will be missed by his pride and joy, his dog, Sandy. He was predeceased his mother, Jennie, and two brothers, John and Fred. Cremation has taken place under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, NS (477.5601), where visitation will take place on Thursday from 12-2 PM, with the funeral service to follow at 2PM from the funeral home chapel.
