Obituary of Freda Morash

MORASH, Freda Bernice - 89, Scott's Point, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2009, at home. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Stannage and Ethel (Keddy) Morash. Freda was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by nieces, Phyllis Zinck, Sheila (John) Dover, Charlotte Faulkner, Barbara Morash; nephews, Wade Zinck, Clifford (Eleanor) Coolen, Walter "Sonny" Coolen, Kenny (Shawna) Morash, John "Bubs" Faulkner; brother-in-law, Lawrence "Bubbles" Zinck; sisters-in-law, Leona Morash and Leah Faulkner; many great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by long-time companion, William "Bill" Faulkner; brother, Robert Morash and two infant brothers; twin sister, Dorothy Morash, sisters, Agnes (Walter) Coolen, Violet Zinck; nephew, Stephen Faulkner. Arrangements are under the care and direction of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Rd., Spryfield (477-5601), where visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 14, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 15, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations in Freda's memory may be made to St. James Anglican Church or St. James Anglican Church Cemetery Fund.
