Obituary of Harvey Marryatt

MARRYATT, Harvey Ronald - 69, passed away on January 24, 2009, at home. Born in West Pennant, Halifax Co., he was a son of the late Samuel and Melvina (Finck) Marryatt. Harvey "Grumpy" is survived by his loving wife, Joan (Harrie); son, Roger (Lynn); daughter, Norma (Guy) MacDonald, all of West Pennant; sisters, Una Earnts, Dartmouth; Eva Garrison, Halifax; Jessie Crosby, Ontario; Vernie Dorogi, Halifax; Zella Wakeman, Ontario; brother, Hugh, Sambro; grandchildren, Victoria, Kimberlyn and DJ. He was predeceased by sisters, Jean Bartlett, Bernice Burt, and brothers, Austin, George, Cecil, Sammy and Gerald. Cremation has taken place and by request, there will be no visitation or service. Donations in Harvey's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
