Obituary of Daniel Slaunwhite

Slaunwhite, Daniel Michael: 83, Terence Bay, NS, husband of the late Constance (Slaunwhite), passed away on March 10, 2009 at the New Halifax Infirmary, Halifax, NS. Born in Terence Bay, NS, he was the son of the late Edward and Ellen (Howard) Slaunwhite. Throughout his life, Dan was a labourer and a fisherman who worked diligently to support his loving family. He was a member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Terence Bay. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his sons, Barry (Louise), and Wade (Kerri), both of Terence Bay, his brother, Aaron (Ella Mae), grandsons, Kirk (Bonnie), Jeffrey (Tracey) and Nicholas, and great-grandson, Dylan, as well as nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, Constance, brothers, Clarence, John, Everett and Bryden, and sisters, Pearl Slaunwhite, Annie Pettipas, Doris Noel, and Violet Little. Cremation has taken place under the care of JA Walker Funeral Home, 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, NS (477.5601). A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 13, 2009 at 10 AM from St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Terence Bay, NS, with Rev. Lisa Vaughn as clergy. Interment will take place in St. Paul’s Cemetery.
