Obituary of Edward Little

LITTLE, Edward Dennis - 72, Halifax. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edward “Googie” on Sunday, March 29, 2009, in Glades Lodge Nursing Home. Born in Terence Bay, he was a son of the late Robert and Anastasia Little. Edward was a kind, gentle man who loved his community. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his brother Robert Little; his niece Linda (Mike) Stoddard, and nephew Robert (Cindy) Little; He was predeceased by sisters, Annie and Vera; sister in-law Joan Little; nephew Peter Little. Arrangements are under the direction of J. A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Spryfield, (477-5601). A service of remembrance will be held on Wednesday, April 8, at 2:30 p.m. from the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place in Terence Bay at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, Kidney Foundation of Canada, Nova Scotia Branch, or to a charity of one’s choice.
