Obituary of Barbara Guillotte

Guillotte, Barbara Ann- 54, Halifax, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2009 at the QEII Health Sciences Centre. Born in West Dover, she was the daughter of the late Seaton C. and Dora Evelyn (Zinck) Morash.Barbara worked at Stadacona for many years. She enjoyed bingo, a good game of cards and getting together with her friends and socializing. Barbara loved her pets. She was very soft-hearted when it came to people. She helped everyone around her. She is survived by her sons, John Firth (Megan); James Firth (Abby Brown); daughter Dora (Jamie) Delisle; 10 grandchildren who she thought dearly of; her companion Donnie Francis. She is also survived by her brothers, Darren Morash, Halifax; Howard (Mary) Morash, McGrath’s Cove; Alfred Morash (Jeanette Berringer), West Dover and Cecil (Lena) Morash, Halifax; sisters, Crystal (Brian) Blackburn, Halifax; Rhonda (favorite brother in law Wesley) Morash, Prospect Bay; Alice (Vernon)Morash, Big Lake; Leona (Timothy) Hartlen, White’s Lake; Mandy (Craig) Finlay, Big Lake; Debbie Morash (Eugene Boutilier), Middle Village; Rose (Cecil) Herritt, West Dover; many nieces and nephews; especially Stephanie and Brittany Morash. She was predeceased by brother, Clarence Morash. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Spryfield (477-5601). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 7 at 1 pm from the funeral home chapel, Pastor Connie Thurber officiating with a reception to follow.
