Obituary of Didier Theriault

THERIAULT, Didier Joseph “Did” - 71, Halifax, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 in the VG Site, QEII. Born in Magdalene Islands, Que., he was a son of the late Conrad and Angela Theriault. Did worked for many years with DND, Windsor Park. In his spare time he enjoyed participating in anything having to do with cars. He will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten by his wife Eulalie “Lil”; son Mark; brother Michael and family; good friends Arnold & Sheila, all of Halifax. He was predeceased by brothers, Richard and Albert; sister, Margaret. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Palliative Care staff of the VG Site, QEII, for their compassionate care and support. Cremation has taken place under the direction of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, (477-5601) where visitation will be held on Thursday, August 13 from 7-9 PM. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, August 14 at 10 AM in St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, Herring Cove with Fr. Jamie Utronkie officiating, reception to follow in the church hall. Interment will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Did’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
