Obituary of Patricia Wournell

WOURNELL, Patricia Ann — 65, of Halifax, passed away peacefully at home, September 24, 2009. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Loyde and Eileen Slaunwhite. Throughout her life she had worked as a packer with Moirs Chocolates and as a dispatcher for Spryfield Taxi. She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Stanley; daughters, Karen Jollimore (Scott), Halifax; Susan Ross (Brian), Innisfil, Ont.; Cathy Wournell (Rose), Canning; Jean Wournell, Halifax; son, Stanley Jr., Halifax; sisters, Diane Campbell (Red), Debbie Goyetche (Jim), Vicki Ginn (Peter), all of Halifax; grandchildren, Jamie and Gary Ross, Jessica Jollimore. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at 1 p.m. for an hour prior to the memorial service at 2 p.m., all in J.
