Hale, Patricia Mary: 79, Halifax, passed away on October 4, 2009 at Maplestone Enhanced Care, Halifax, NS. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Cecil and Rose (Brophy) MacLeod. She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Donald, son, Clifford (Philomena), Anthrum, step-sons, Ralph (Barb), Dartmouth, Donnie Jr. (Correna), Kinsac, Frankie (Darlene), Spryfield, sisters, Millie (Russ), Marion (Helmut), brother, Victor (Patricia), all of Ontario, grandchildren, Patricia Randy), Avery, Erica, Mitchell, Mackenzie, and Devlin, as well as sisters-in-law, Pearl and Sally and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Clifford Minnette, sisters, Beatrice (Jack), Dorothy (Art and Ira), Ruth (Grant), brothers, Cecil, Charlie, John “Donnie” (Judy), Garfield (Dorey), and Kenneth, Cremation has taken place under the care of JA Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, NS (477.5601), where visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at 2 PM from the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place at Gate of Heaven cemetery, Lower Sackville, NS. Donations in memory of Patricia may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
