Obituary of Harold Kennedy

Harold William — 82, Clayton Park, passed away suddenly on October 9, 2009. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late George and Annie (Harpell) Kennedy. He retired as a supervisor at the CNR Express Department after 35 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Mavis C. (Warren) Kennedy; sons, Harold (Theresa) Kennedy, Enfield; David (Susie) Kennedy, Alberta; daughter, Janet Shupe, Lower Sackville; step-sons, Gary (Cheryl) Warren, Halifax; Bruce (Crystal) Warren, Halifax; Peter (Anne) Warren, Portuguese Cove; Gerald Warren, Halifax; Glen (Darlene) Warren, Halifax. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grand-children. He was predeceased by brothers, Charles, George and sisters, Marie Miller, Viola Levy. Funeral arrangements are the under the direction of J. A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. Visitation will take place today (Monday) from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. A celebration of his life will be held in J. Albert Walker Funeral Home Chapel, on Tuesday, October 13 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at a later date. Donations in Harold's memory may be sent to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Canadian Cancer Society, Nova Scotia Division.
