Obituary of Elizabeth "Jean" Doucet

DOUCET, Elizabeth "Jean" —64, Yarmouth, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2009, in Melville Lodge, Halifax. Born in Yarmouth, she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Sadie (Ward) Allen. Jean had many hobbies including knitting and reading, but she most enjoyed going to yard sales and flea markets in her spare time. She will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten by children, Kimberly "Kim" Doucet, Ontario; James "Jim" Doucet (Michelle), Ontario; Joanne Henneberry (Tom), Dartmouth; grandchildren, Kaitlin and Jonathan Doucet, Peyton and Luke Henneberry; brother-in-law, Gerald Muise, Yarmouth. She was predeceased by sister, Marjorie Muise. Cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering will be held in Sweeny's Funeral Home, 567 Main St., Yarmouth (742-3245), on Friday, October 16, at 1 p.m. A private family interment will follow in Our Lady Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
