Obituary of Arnold Jollimore

JOLLIMORE, Arnold Joseph — 70, West Pennant, passed away December 6, 2009, in the V.G. Site, QEII, after a brave and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Halifax on July 3, 1939, he was a son of the late Henry and Margaret (Fraser) Jollimore. He retired from the Halifax School Board after many years. He leaves to morn his passing his loving wife of 48 years, Myrta (Campbell) Jollimore; sons, Dale (Debbie), Scott (Karen), Shawn (Janet), all of Halifax; brothers, Art (Jean), Upper Stewiacke; Vincent (Marie), Nelson, David (Susan), all of Halifax; sisters, Audrey Sullivan, Halifax; Marilyn (Alford) Painting, Lanesville; Ruth (Doug) MacLean, Parrsboro; grandchildren, Jolena, Danielle, Ben, Jake, Cohen, Jessica, Andrew; several nieces and nephews. Arnold was predeceased by sisters, Delores, Jeanette and Thelma. Cremation has taken place under the care of J. A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd. (477-5601). A graveside service will be held at a later date in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
