Obituary of Andrew "AK-F" Forrest

FORREST, Andrew Kim "AK-F" — 27, Halifax, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 15, 2009. Born in Halifax, he was a son of David and Elaine (Forrest) Lott. Andrew loved cars, music and his whole family. He was talented with his hands and mechanically inclined. He enjoyed painting and could do just about anything he put his hands to. He will lovingly be remembered and never forgotten by his parents. He was true to his family. He is survived by his parents, brothers, Troy, Gary and D.J.; maternal grandmother, Geraldine Forrest; uncles, Derrick Forrest "DF" (Faye), Randy (Laurie) Forrest, Terry (Ruth Collins) Forrest, Alan (Susan) Forrest and David James Forrest; aunts, Bev (Gordie) Smith, Lisa Forrest; common-law-spouse, Nicole Ferrier and her son, Cameron Ferrier; several nieces and nephews and many cousins. Andrew was predeceased by sister, Tara Lee; maternal grandfather, Arnold Jollimore; uncle, Kim Forrest. Cremation has taken place under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Rd., Halifax (477-5601), where visitation will be held Sunday, December 20, from 2-6 p.m. from the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
