Obituary of Everett Topple

TOPPLE, Everett - 88, Halifax, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 in the VG Site, QEII. Born in Halifax on January 17, 1921, he was a son of the late William and Winnifred (Slaunwhite) Topple. He will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten by his wife, Madeline (Jollimore); sons, Randy (Joyce) and Terry (Florence); daughters, Juanita (Sam) Sampson; Susan (Sandy) Bignell; Wendy (Percy) Godfrey; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 1 greatn great-grandchild; brother, Gerald (Edna). He was predeceased by son, Ricky; brothers, Leo, Eric, Reginald, Russell, Howard, Robert and Ronald; sisters, Edith, Dorothy, Daisy and Violet. Cremation has taken place under the direction of J. A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Spryfield (477-5601). By request there will be no visitation. A service of remembrance will be held on Friday, January 8 at 1 PM from the funeral home chapel.
