She is survived by her husband, Lorne; children, Lorna (Dwayne), Shelly and Rob; grandchildren, Darrian, Jordan, Jennessa, Tyler and Lyndsay, all of Halifax; dearest friends, Pat and Louise; bother, Walter, Cambridge, Ont.; She was predeceased by her stepfather, Garneau Connolly; brother, William Briand; father and mother in-law, Llewellyn and Florence Mercer. As Jesus words say in John 5:28 & 29, "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear His voice and come out". Arrangements are under the direction of J. A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Rd., Spryfield (477-5601). The family would like to extend special thanks to all who were involved and helped Connie in her time of need.
Our dearest friend has gone to rest, a wife and mother, she was the best. Three children she raised that brought her joy, two beautiful girls and her precious boy. Our hearts will be sad while she is gone, for in God's memory our Connie belongs.
