Obituary of Marie Bullock

BULLOCK, Marie Christina … 79, Halifax, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 8, 2010 in Melville Lodge. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Myrtle (Mullaly) Bullock. Marie owned and operated Orchard Realty in Windsor, NS at one time, something she thoroughly enjoyed. She is survived by daughter, Janet (Eddie) Lowe; several grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; brother, Ted (Bev) Bullock; sisters in-law, Janet and Ann Bullock. She was predeceased by son, David Shortt; daughter, Karen Shortt; brothers, Joe and Buddy Bullock. Special thanks to the caregivers of Melville Lodge for their care and support. Arrangements are under the direction of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Road, Spryfield, (477-5601) where visitation will be held from 7-9 PM on Thursday. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday, February 12 at 11 AM from the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association.
