Obituary of Marie Schnare

SCHNARE, Marie Winnifred: 74, Halifax, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax, NS. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Milton and Doris (Adams) Slaunwhite. Marie loved to play bingo and enjoyed playing cards. She is survived by her sons, Gary, Donnie (Fran), Barry, and Kevin (Shelly), daughters, Deborah Majcan, Gail Schnare, and Heather Vallis (Ross), as well as her brothers, Bobby, Mick, and Wayne, several grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, and her husband of 54 years, Raymond “Hon” Schnare. Cremation has taken place under the care of JA Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, NS (477.5601), where a memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 10 AM from the funeral home chapel with Rev.
