Obituary of Linda Newman

NEWMAN, Linda Rita … 57, Halifax, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 8, 2010 in the VG Site, QEII. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late William and Rita (Hendsbee) Newman. Linda is survived by sons, David and Mark; daughter, Jennifer (Greg); sisters, Karen and Brenda; brothers, William, Ronald, Stephen and Kenneth; special sister Sharrie; 4 grandchildren. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses ‘angels’ of 7A of the VG, VON Dave and Lori from the Red Cross, for all of their care and support. Cremation has taken place under the care of J. A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Spryfield (477-5601). In keeping with Linda’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service.
