SNOW, Bruce Douglas — 60, Halifax, passed away suddenly at home on February 20, 2010. Born in Halifax on September 12, 1949, he was a son of the late Alfred and Irene (Bowman) Snow. For many years Bruce was a driver with Armdale Taxi. He is survived by daughters, Serina (Scott), Heather (Jeremy), both of Newport; Teena (Joey), Halifax; sons, Bruce (Amanda), London, Ont.; Tony (Sue), Halifax; sisters, Lillian (Edward), Gloria, Alfreda, all of Halifax; Marilyn (Dave), Upper Burlington; Heather (Ben), Beaver Bank; Donna (John), Lower Sackville; Helen (Jadey), Three Miles Plains; brothers, Henry (Brenda), Prospect Bay; Alfred (Dorothy), John, Paul (Madonna), all of Halifax; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister, Sandra. Cremation will take place after visitation which will be held Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with funeral service Friday at 10 a.m., both in J.A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Rd., Halifax (477-5601). Family flowers only by request. Donations in memory may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
