Obituary of William "Bill" Mitchell

53, Halifax, passed away peacefully at home on March 3, 2010. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late George and Margaret (Swinamer) Mitchell. Bill is survived by wife, Rhonda; son, Chris at home; daughter, Kelly (Edward Riordon), Halifax; brothers, Tim Mitchell(Cathy), Coldbrook; Jackie Buckley (Gail), Halifax; sisters, Margaret Hennesey (Darren), Kingston; Deanna Buckley, Moncton; Betty Barry (Blair), Halifax; grandchildren, Zoey, Owen; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Gary Buckley. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Sunday 2-4 p.m., with memorial service Monday 11 a.m. all from J. A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Rd., Halifax (477-5601), Rev. Russell Saulnier officiating. Donations in memory may be made to ALS Society of Nova Scotia or SPCA.
