Obituary of Nellie Wournell

WOURNELL, Nellie Rae … 94, White’s Lake, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2010 in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Newfoundland, she was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by son, Robert (Gail), White’s Lake; granddaughter Anita, and great-grandson, Chevie. She was predeceased by her husband George; daughter, Nancy; grandson, Joseph; several brothers and sisters. Nellie was a lifelong member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 153, and had many friends. Cremation has taken place under the direction of J. A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. Interment to take place at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to the Bide-A-While Animal Shelter.
