Obituary of Geraldine Irene Hallett-MacDonald

62- Halifax passed away June 5,2010 at the Halifax Infirmary QEII. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Irene(Drysdale) Hallett. She was a loving wife to John MacDonald for 34 years, she will be remembered for her courage , humor, love for animals and most of all her love for her family. Geraldine cherished time with her family and we are for ever grateful for the many presious memories of a wonderful mother, grandmother, daughter, sister wife and friend. Geraldine is survived by her husband John, sons; Michael, William; daughters Marina, Corina, Christina, Peggy, Jennifer and grand sons Michael James, Jesse all of Halifax; brothers Ronald, Robert both of Halifax, Sam: Toronto ONT.; sisters Carolyn: Whites Lake, Frankie: Halifax, Donna, Valerie, Dianna Leigh: all of Halifax, Debbie :Laneville. She was predeceased by grand daughter Carrie Anne. Arrangements under the care of J.A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd. (477-5601) where visitation will be held 2-4 & 7-9 Wednesday, with funeral service 10 a.m. Thursday, Father Rob Arsenault officiating. Interment to follow in Sunrise Park Inter-Faith Cemetery Prospect Rd. Donations may be made to the Crohns and Colitis Foundation.
