Obituary of David Joseph Sampson

65- Halifax passed away suddenly on June 10,2010 in Halifax. Born in Louisdale, Cape Breton, he was a son of the late Joseph and Annie May (Landry) Sampson. He loved fishing, playing cards, cooking and enjoyed having a good meal. His love for life came through laughter, and now continues to live through his sons. David is survived by sons; John (Jessica), Halifax, Brad, British Columbia; brothers; Francis (Catherine), Albert (Brenda), Gary (Debbie); sisters; Eleanor Sampson (Norman), Viola Shabolt, all of Louisdale, Rhoda Cormier, Florence Harriet both of Sydney, Lorraine Peters, L’Ardoise, Shirley Boudreau (Lester), Sylvia Saulnier (Lewis), both of Grosse Coque, Marlene Sampson (Keith), Alberta, grandchildren Lindsay and Brandon. He was predeceased by daughter Colleen,and brother Joseph “T-Boy”. Cremation has taken place under the care of J.A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday June 16,2010 from St. Louis Roman Catholic Church in Louisdale, Father Angus MacDougall officiating. Interment to follow in the St. Louis Roman Catholic Church Cemetery.
