Obituary of Morris Joseph "Moe" LeBlanc

60, Spryfield. It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Morris in the Halifax Infirmary QEII, June 20,2010. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Arthur Sr. and Jean (Wile) LeBlanc. He had worked at Al-N-Moe Auto Shine in Dartmouth for the past 19 years. Morris enjoyed watching and supporting his hockey team, especially this year he had the pleasure of seeing them win the Stanley Cup. Moe is survived by his wife of 35 years Shirley (Schnare); brother Arthur (Linda), Halifax; sisters Bernice LeFabvre (Richard), Linda Clairmont (Alex, deceased) both of Halifax, Carol Joncas, Spryfield, Pat Yasconi (Andrea), Sackville; brother-in-laws Pieter Schnare (Susan), Ronald Schnare (Nancy); nephews Arthur and Morris LeBlanc, Michael Roosevelt, Richard LeFabrve, Andre and Stephen Yasconi; Neices Jeanna David, Christine Joncas, Tracey and Kelly Schnare; several aunts and uncles. Cremation has taken place under the care of J.A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd. (477-5601) where visitation will be held Thursday from 5-7 p.m., memorial service will follow at 7 p.m., Pastor Russell Saulnier officiating. By request, the family wishes to have the service scent free. There will be a reception to follow service, interment to take place at a later date. Family flowers only. Morris had a great love for animals and any donations in memory of may be made to the SPCA Shelter or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. The family wishes to extend special thanks to nurses Tim and Renae and all the staff of the C.C.U. 6.4 Unit of the Halifax Infirmary for their compassion and care, and also wish to thank neice Jean David for her prayer and comforting words to Morris and his family.
